Here are two more short interviews I did at C2E2.

The first interview is with Terry Huddleston who’s known for his work with Big Bang Comics.   I was able to just catch him before he had to leave to do a drawing workshop.  Woot!  You can find his art at http://bit.ly/V3gPZQ.

The second interview is with Kimberly Moseberry who works with Xigency Studios and releases her first comic book called Enigma.  You can check out her art at http://bit.ly/12AvEDZ and purchase her comic book at Xigency Studios website.

Also, here is a picture of the awesome Storm poster that I purchase from Kimberly!  It’s just beautiful!

I have been an avid fan of Scandal since the beginning and absolutely LUV the show!   Shonda has wrapped us around her genius writing pen and ain’t letting go no time soon.   We are now in the second season of the show and I’ve notice a pattern of feels that occur for most watchers.  Let me tell you the stages of #ThisShitHere.

Before we get into the stages, let’s compare feelings during the episode.

When you and your friends (on twitter) see the show starting

When Quinn and/or Abby come on screen to do or say something stupid:

The lastest fly outfit Olivia is wearing

Alright!  Let’s get into the stages!

Stage 1 of #ThisShitHere: Wha Da Fucq Just Happened?

Finished watching the episode & Shonda done pulled the rug from under your brain again.   Trying to process what form of trickery you just went through.

I don’t think my brain can process anymore… #ShondaBrokeMe

Stage 2 of #ThisShitHere: Anger

You finally process those last five minutes of the episode… You are not amuse that Shonda ripped your heart out, wine & dine it, then ran out leaving you with the check.

CAN YOU TRUST NO ONE ON THIS SHOW???  WHY LAWD WHY!!!

Stage 3 of #ThisShitHere: Disbelief

You go back to re-watch certain parts of the episode cause you HAD TO MISS SOMETHING.  You go back damn near to beginning cause those last 5 minutes had to be a lie.  IT HAS TO BE!   My eyes didn’t see what I thought I saw.

Stage 4 of #ThisShitHere: F*Ck This. I’m Done

Where you decide your heart can’t take it anymore & you’re done with the show.

Stage 5 of #ThisShitHere: Acceptance

When you realize your ass is going to be sitting in front of the TV next Thursday like clockwork.

Don’t worry.. There are support groups for those suffering from #ThisShitHere

Check out the short interview with B.C Dixon, the author of Black Dragon No. 8: Genesis.   Black Dragon No. 8: Genesis is a sci-fi fantasy novel where a war between Heaven and Hell is raging & Earth is the final prize.  He currently working on the next book in the series called, Black Dragon No. 8: The Darkest Storm.  I stopped by his booth at C2E2 to ask him a few questions about his book and inspirations for writing.

Go to Xigency Studios website if you would like more information on B.C. Dixon and/or want to purchase his books.

Like a growing amount of the world„ I spend a great deal of time online. Trust me, that’s not a judgement. It is as though the internet created and holds most of my favorite things. I especially love reading stories from authors that are available for free. I remember the pride I felt browsing the old Syfy website and finding “Book of Martha” by Octavia Butler. There was a moment and it might have happened for me very late in the night. It is in that spirit that I present you with a list of authors I’ve previously delighted in and works of theirs I found online. Some of them I found through random great sites that I’m so glad I found ( http://bit.ly/16olKdM) and for some them all I had to do was search the author’s site. I hope this saves you some time and gives you a feel of these authors.

Before I begin this list, let me just say that is a great resource….and it is all legal.

1. Book of Martha by Octavia Butler (They tried to take it but the internet said “No!”)
http://bit.ly/16olKdN

2. The Brides of Heaven by N.K. Jemisin
http://bit.ly/16olKu1

3. A Rich Man by Edward P Jones
http://nyr.kr/16olKu2

4. Whose Upward Flight I Love by Nalo Hopkinson
http://bit.ly/16olKu5

5. The Jewels of Aptor by Samuel Delany (okay, this is a full novel)
http://bit.ly/UR4wzg

6. The Pura Principle by Junot Diaz
http://nyr.kr/L0VE4T

7.  Patient Zero by Tananarive Due
http://bit.ly/16olKub

8. Drinking Coffee Elsewhere by Z.Z. Packer
http://nyr.kr/16olKuc

9. The Palm Tree Bandit by Nnedi Okorafur
http://bit.ly/16olHP5

10. Wherever You Go There You Are by Danielle Evans (This is a cheat because it’s not the whole story and it’s a video of her reading half the short story. So…enjoy!)
http://n.pr/16olHP9

And that concludes my list. Ten is the magic list number so I just know I missed a number of great shiny things online. Please leave the short stories/stories/videos related to stories in the comments.
